You are coming on too strong.

2009-06-06

People usually worry about whether the guy/girl they are dating or chasing are just not that into them. Well, I am here to acknowledge you guys that, words always lie, but body language never.

All so often, you see a guy coming on too strong to a girl, how ?

1. When you are walking, your hands is on her waist, when shes just walking normally with her hands free from you. This is a classic sign of how the guy is giving the girl too much attention, the girl will either feel overwhelmed by the attention given or she is going to get bored of you soon enough. Guys who always have their hands around their girl's waist, are the guys who are either dating the girl with sex as the main motivation / insecure / showing off.

2. When you are eating, the guy sits right beside you, even when there's only 2 of you, and he could had sat opposite facing you. BIG MISTAKE guys. Why would you want to sit beside her ? cause you can get in more physical contact ? Wrong.
During meal time, it is one important time to bond, have some solid conversations. By sitting side by side with her, when the whole restaurant everyone is sitting opposite of each other, you have lowered your value, and definitely look DESPERATE.

3. Well, okay, what you say might show how stupid stupid are you. When a guy / girl says 'I'll wait for you'. Because you just rejected them. You need to find the closest exit, and run towards it ! A guy / girl who said such things, are definitely INEXPERIENCE and does not know how to treat you !

Imagine, if that person expects you to like him/her, because they WAITED for you, won't that just makes you look like a fool ? they are implying, 'If I can't get you by heart, I'll just wait till you give up on rejecting me'. And there are more than 90% of guys out there who think that line actually shows loyalty and the girl might get emotionally touched. Scary eh.

4. When you are out with her shopping or just chilling, please, try your best not to follow her EVERYWHERE she goes. I mean, seriously, have some common sense, if she wanted to date someone who follows her 24/7, she would had gotten a dog. If you are out shopping with her, don't just stupidly stand there while she shops, you shop too. Remember, it's an outing, you are not her bitch.

5. Make the decisions. If the girl ask 'so where you wana go eat', and you have no idea whats her favorite food, here's the trick. Answer with your favorite food, and she will probably be 'no, I hate that', this will be your chance to say, 'well, okay, we'll just go to your choice, I'm not familiar with this place'. See, it was YOU who decided who got to decide where to go to eat. Trust me, small details like these matters.

Sometimes the girl will be all decisive, it is your job to support her and say 'let's do it, if it sucks, you have me to suffer with you.' Cause at the end, the food...does not matter, it is the conversation that does.

If you are always 'whatever, we do anything you like' then yes, you are definitely getting annoying.

6. Stop asking her whether she is mad at you, if she is, you will know. Her life is not just about you.

7. If she/he says something about the past, such as ex bf / gf, and you do feel the details given is abit too much, do not just put on a frown face and get pissed off. Do this.
Say politely, 'well, that's alright, but is it okay that we leave those stuff out, I rather not talk about it, I want to talk about you more.'

8. Do not brag. I swear, MOST GUYS DO THIS. Such as putting on your msn nickname 'Omg, my baby today gave me a gift, i love my baby, shes soooo good to me' Mistake. Privacy alert. She is dating you, not a celebrity.

9. Not remembering how to be yourself. If she slaps you or does anything really rude to you, you have the right to walk off. Let your partner know, you are not their whipping bitch, you deserve just as much as they do.

10. Don't try too hard, if you initiate a kiss, you go 90, she goes 10. Remember that.
